The first Board of Directors consisted of Turney E. Buck, Con Colbrook, Daniel H. Dailey, Norman R. Johnson, Clifford S. Stokes, L.A. Tedrow, Sam Taylor, and E.W. Vollintine. Clifford S. Stokes served as the first President and Chairman of the Board; Turney E. Buck was Vice President, and Cashier Joe F. Gearhart. Other employees during the early years were Virginia P. Spalding and Florence Padgett.
